Volunteer Academy of the Oberberg District launches first half-year program 2026 New free courses for volunteers starting Friday, 27.02.2026

Oberberg District. The Ehrenamts-Akademie Oberberg District is launching its new semester program for 2026. Volunteers can access practical, competent, and fee-free training offerings here, which help them fulfill their voluntary roles with joy and competence. 
Courses offered include topics such as insurance questions, inclusive offerings, and measures to attract citizens to volunteer activities.
Additionally, there are training sessions on AI usage and introductory courses in the graphic design program Canva to create effective promotional materials. The Ehrenamts-Akademie Oberberg also promotes the improved well-being of volunteers, such as with offerings on breath coaching, resilience, and team development. 

"With the current training offerings, the Ehrenamts-Akademie Oberberg District imparts even more know-how for active volunteers. With our new program, we once again address the current questions and needs of volunteers. The better trained volunteers are, the better they can fulfill their roles. Our Ehrenamts-Akademie successfully contributes to this with its qualified and free training opportunities," says Sylvia Asmussen, head of the Office for Civic Engagement and Volunteering in the Oberberg District.
