50th County Hall Storm - Jolly Anniversary Jolly women turned District Administrator Klaus Grootens and Deputy Stefan Heße into "Mouse Bosses"

Oberbergischer Kreis. After "100 days in office," District Administrator Klaus Grootens faced a Herculean carnival challenge: together with his deputy Stefan Heße, he had to secure the key to the district office and successfully fend off the impending takeover of the district administration by the "jecken Wiever" (carnival women). But the ambitious carnival enthusiasts had prepared excellently for this 50th storming of the district office on Weiberfastnacht: The countdown to the takeover of the district administrator's office began, as usual, loudly at 10:30 a.m. in the foyer of the district office with booming carnival hits and shrill whistles. They were led by the staff council quartet Michaela Zenker, Sandra Pillgram, Antje Kleine, and Simone Medyouni, supported by the dance group Aggerperlen from the Ründerother KV.  

"50 years wild and jeck - for the last time in the same place?!"

At 11:11 a.m., the "jecken Wiever" successfully stormed the district administrator's office. As a precaution, Klaus Grootens and Stefan Heße had hidden the key well. But as experience shows, no key is safe from the "jecken Wiever." 

Amid loud cheers, the female employees sealed their one-day carnival reign: with the golden district office key and two tie tips as insignia of their power. As fair losers, "overthrown" but cheerful, the district administrator and his deputy joined the triumphant carnival women and allowed themselves to be dressed up as mice without resistance. Then a dance performance awaited under the motto "I am Karnevalsklaus" in the district office canteen.

In the procession of carnival staff, the dual leadership - in now 50 years of tradition - moved "with man and mouse" to celebrate together in the former district canteen, where the popular, homemade stage program began.
