Service offerings still restricted Some specialized applications are not yet fully operational

Oberbergischer Kreis. The IT service provider for the Oberbergischer Kreis has tested individual applications and gradually put them back into operation. The Oberbergischer Kreis is once again reachable by telephone and email. However, some specialized applications are still not fully operational. The district administration will report when operations are fully restored.

The branch offices of the Road Traffic Office in Hückeswagen and Waldbröl remain closed today (Wednesday, 04.03.2026). The Oberbergischer Kreis will inform as soon as possible when appointments at the main office in Gummersbach can be scheduled again. Following a power outage at the data center of the municipal IT service provider regioiT, there were numerous failures in central IT systems and specialized applications yesterday. The Oberbergischer Kreis and other administrations in the region were unable to offer various service offerings or could only offer them in a limited capacity.
