Fourth Family Office in Oberbergischer Kreis Opened New location in Marienheide within the Multigenerational House.

Oberbergischer Kreis. The Oberbergischer Kreis has opened another family office: The fourth location officially began its work at the multi-generational house of the Heilteich network in Marienheide. Numerous guests attended the opening, including Mayor Sebastian Heimes, Deputy District Administrator Heidrun Schmeis-Noack, as well as representatives of the Caritas Association of the Oberbergischer Kreis, which has taken over sponsorship.

With the new offering, the district youth welfare office is further expanding its strategy to support families locally and in a low-threshold manner. A total of nine family offices are planned within the jurisdiction.

“Families should not have to search for long when they need support,” emphasized Andre Steiniger, head of the district youth welfare office, in his speech. “They need a reliable point of contact in their community – accessible, easy to reach, and well-networked.”

The family office in Marienheide is already the fourth location in the district. Step by step, a comprehensive network is being created that offers families guidance and directs them to suitable services when needed.

“What we are building here are places of counseling, meeting, and guidance,” Steiniger continued. “Here, professionals and families come together, needs are identified early, and appropriate help is provided – before problems become bigger.”

A special feature of the new location is its integration into the multi-generational house of the Heilteich network. Here, intergenerational interaction is actively practiced. The facility provides space for encounters and joint activities and is open to people of all ages and backgrounds.

“This location in particular offers great opportunities,” explained Steiniger. “We expect many synergies here – between generations, between services, and especially between the people who come together here.”

Special thanks were given to the Caritas Association of the Oberbergischer Kreis, which has taken over sponsorship of the family office, as well as to the Heilteich network for providing the premises and close collaboration on-site.

With the opening in Marienheide, the Oberbergischer Kreis is taking another important step towards a strong, networked, and family-friendly infrastructure.
