Kreisstraße 19 will be rehabilitated in the area of the Lindlar-Klause industrial park Sanitation work starts Monday, May 4, 2026

Oberbergischer Kreis. Starting Monday, May 4, 2026, the Oberbergischer Kreis will carry out extensive repair work on Kreisstraße 19 in the Lindlar municipal area. The section between the roundabout at the access area of the Klause industrial park and the intersection of L 299 towards Horpe, as well as the access area to the Leppedeponie, will be affected. A total of approximately eight damaged spots will be milled and restored with a new asphalt base layer and an asphalt surface layer. The overall measure is expected to be completed by mid-July 2026. Detours will be set up.
The work will be carried out in two construction phases and will start at the roundabout in the Klause industrial park.

1st Section Industrial Zone Klause – Intersection L 299

First, the surface layer will be milled off. Then, individual damaged areas will be repaired. Subsequently, an asphalt binder layer will be installed along with a surface layer made of asphalt concrete.

Driveways and intersections will be adjusted to the new roadway, shoulders and existing ditches will be renewed. Additionally, the guardrails in the section will be replaced.

During the work in this construction section, there will mostly be a full closure for through traffic. A detour will be set up via L 299, Eichholz – Horpe, Horpestraße as well as K 19.

The roundabout at the industrial zone Klause will be partially closed – traffic will then be regulated by a traffic light.

2nd Section Leppedeponie

Once this construction section is completed, work will begin in the area of the Leppedeponie.
Here, a one-way traffic regulation is planned. The detour will lead via the (then renovated) K 19 – L 299 Lindlar – K 21 Lindlar-Neuenfeld – Kuhlbach – L 97 Kaiserau – L 302 Kaiserau and Bickenbach.
