Countdown to the CITY CYCLING in Oberberg District Starting on Whit Monday, May 25, 2026, the campaign to cycle kilometers for climate protection begins

Oberberg District. Covering as many routes as possible in a climate-friendly way by bicycle - that is the goal of the international CITY CYCLING campaign 2026, in which the Oberberg District and Oberberg municipalities are also participating.
Starting on Whit Monday, May 25, 2026, participants will have the great opportunity to switch to bicycles as often as possible for three weeks. Until Sunday, June 14, 2026, participants will collect cycling kilometers for themselves, their team, and their municipality.
Anyone who lives, works, is active in an association, or attends a (high) school in the Oberberg District can participate and collect as many cycling kilometers as possible.
As of May 19, 2026, 1,515 cyclists in 219 teams have already registered. Those who still want to join in cycling and collecting kilometers can register at www.stadtradeln.de/oberbergischer-kreis.

Participation in STADTRADELN is possible during leisure time, on the way to work, and even on vacation. Every kilometer counts and avoids CO₂. The Oberbergischer Kreis as well as the cities and municipalities cordially invite everyone to join in cycling!

If photos for download are provided exclusively for media representatives/press, all usage rights (cf. §§ 31 ff. UrhG) according to § 43 UrhG lie with the Oberbergischer Kreis. For reporting purposes, the media are granted a simple usage right according to § 31 Abs. 2 UrhG.
