De-escalation The Academy for Health Economics and Seniors (AGewiS) of the Oberbergischer Kreis is expanding its qualification offerings in the area of de-escalation.

Oberbergischer Kreis. Christoph Hullmann, Elisabeth Isenhardt, Anja Henk-Göbel, Bastian Klostermann, Julia Peterek, Laura Maier und Lena Schmidt have been successfully certified as PART® de-escalation trainers. The certificates were handed over by the course instructors Rainer Sablotny and Oliver Ruschenburg-Kopke.

Nicole Meyer (Academy Director of AGewiS) congratulated her participating employees on their successful qualification and emphasized the growing importance of professional de-escalation strategies in healthcare. “With the PART® training, we are specifically enhancing the confidence in handling challenging situations – both in nursing and emergency services,” Meyer said.

In the future, the basic module De-escalation PART® will be permanently integrated into the training courses for nursing and emergency professions. Furthermore, AGewiS plans to expand its offerings: PART basic seminars will soon be available not only for trainees but also for individuals and institutions in healthcare at AGewiS. With this step, AGewiS underscores its commitment to more safety, professionalism, and quality in dealing with conflict and crisis situations in everyday professional life in the healthcare sector of the Oberbergischer Kreis.
