Oberbergischer Kreis. Anyone who wishes to submit building applications in Oberbergischer Kreis can now do so online for all types of procedures. The District Building Office currently offers digital building application submission even for the so-called standard building permit procedure. "This means that, in addition to preliminary building inquiries, advertising structures, and the simplified building permit procedure, digital submission is now possible for all applications. "This is the next logical step in digitizing the building administration. Additional application procedures will follow soon," says District Administrator Klaus Grootens.

Interested parties can find more information in the service portal of Oberbergischer Kreis under the keyword: Building Application (Online).

Authorized design submitters have the option to set up permanent access to the online platform by sending an email to gekos@obk.de. In these cases, applicants also receive access credentials for their building application to check the status of the procedure.

"But individual applicants for specific building projects, for which an authorized design submitter is not necessarily required, can also set up a one-time access for the building application they wish to submit," says District Building Director Felix Ammann.

This is possible for advertising structures, the simplified approval procedure, and a preliminary building inquiry for a simplified approval procedure. These can then be submitted digitally by sending an email to gekos@obk.de or by registering via BundID.
