Action Painting Workshop, Regional Italian Dishes, Anti-Poison Bait Training for dog owners, and much more!

The new course program once again offers a wide variety of topics. These include individually bookable cooking courses in the series „Regional Italian Dishes“ in Lindlar and Wiehl. Movement and mindfulness are combined in the offerings „Intuitive Archery“ and „Meditative Archery in conjunction with Qigong“ in Waldbröl.

Tech enthusiasts can explore the development of virtual worlds in Hückeswagen with the course „Virtual Reality Programming with Delightex“. As part of the Intercultural Week, the „Action Painting Workshop for Everyone“ in Gummersbach invites people of all ages to get creative together.

Dog owners will also find suitable offerings in Gummersbach, including the „Anti-Poison Bait Training“. With the course „Simply.Politics – Talking Together, Understanding Politics“ in Wiehl, the VHS Oberberg also creates space for dialogue and political education. Those who prefer to learn a new language from the comfort of their own home can join the new Croatian online course.

Additionally, several educational leaves expand the program. Topics offered include „Artificial Intelligence“ (in Gummersbach and online), „Accounting“ (Gummersbach), and „Economic and Financial Knowledge“ (online).

The entire VHS course program

Starting July 20, 2026, all courses will be available online for registration at www.vhs-oberberg.de.
At the same time, the online catalog with all courses of the new program will be published there.
The printed booklet with the entire program will be available from mid-August 2026 free of charge in the municipalities of the Oberberg district for pickup.

If photos for download are provided exclusively for media representatives/press, all usage rights (cf. §§ 31 ff. UrhG) according to § 43 UrhG lie with the Oberbergischer Kreis. For reporting purposes, the media are granted a simple usage right according to § 31 Abs. 2 UrhG. When publishing, the image rights specified in the press release must be cited (corresponds to IPTC field no. 110). The additional mention of a natural person as the author according to § 13 sentence 2 UrhG is waived, as this regulation is overridden by the application of § 43 UrhG.
