Oberbergischer Kreis. As reported, several branch offices of the district administration experienced significant IT infrastructure disruptions yesterday (Monday, 10/08/2026). The cause of the connection problems was a defective directional antenna, which has since been repaired.

Individuals whose appointments at the vehicle registration office were canceled yesterday (Monday, 10/08/2026) due to the disruption can visit the road traffic office today (Tuesday, 11/08/2026) without an appointment. Proof of the original appointment is required. It is still recommended to check the current status in advance at www.obk.de. Possible waiting times should be planned.

Customers whose appointments at the driving license office were canceled yesterday will be contacted to book a replacement appointment.
