Needs-based renovation and expansion of County Road 57 Renovation and expansion of County Road 57 in the area of the locality Reichshof-Allenbach

Oberbergischer Kreis. Starting October 5th, extensive construction work will begin on County Road 57 to widen the roadway as needed. The junction area to the local industrial area will be expanded so that larger vehicles can safely and without endangering the priority traffic turn onto the county road in the future. At the same time, the remaining roadway area not directly affected by the expansion will be comprehensively renovated.

In coordination with the local watercourse manager, the adjacent watercourse to the roadway will also be relocated. This will be guided in a significantly more natural and road-separated course in the future and then redirected into the Steinagger. This aims to avoid further damages to the road embankment caused by the watercourse, as currently exists.

To minimize the inconvenience for local businesses, the construction work will be conducted with the establishment of a one-way traffic regulation for access to the local industrial area. The roadway of K 57 between the localities of Allenbach and Dorn will be completely closed for the duration of the work.

The detour for through traffic will be routed via L 337 Pochwerk – Allenbach - L 341 Allenbach – Allinghausen - Hunsheim, Kirchstraße or Am Alperbach in Hunsheim, and K 57 Alpe – Dorn.

The construction work is expected to last until the end of November.
