Oberbergischer Kreis. Oberbergischer Kreis. The Beverbus returns for the summer season – and with a significantly expanded offer. From June 4 to September 27, 2026, line 330 will comfortably and environmentally bring passengers to the Bevertalsperre.
The Beverbus operates on weekends and public holidays, and even daily during the summer holidays, each
from morning to evening hours.

Particularly exciting: The number of trips has been significantly increased. On Saturdays and during the summer holidays, the Beverbus runs ten times daily – last year, there were only seven round trips. On Saturdays and Fridays during the holidays, later return trips after 8 PM are also available.
This year, a larger minibus with 16 seats will be used, operating on a fixed schedule. This is intended to ensure more reliable transportation for families and groups to the Bever. No registration or reservation is required.

Attractive offer for leisure and excursions

The offer is aimed at everyone who wants to reach the Bevertalsperre, a popular recreational destination, conveniently and
without a car, whether they are teenagers, families, or day tourists.
From Wipperfürth Bus Station to the Bevertalsperre, the Beverbus takes about 13 minutes, and from Hückeswagen Bahnhofstraße only about 5 minutes. The Bevertalsperre is also easily accessible for passengers from the region. In Wipperfürth, there are connections to line 336 to and from Marienheide. In Hückeswagen, there are good transfer options in the town center to line 336 towards Remscheid-Lennep.

With the Beverbus, we are specifically improving accessibility to one of our most important leisure and nature destinations. This benefits not only passengers but also helps ease the parking situation around the Bevertalsperre.

Quick and affordable to the Bevertalsperre

The Beverbus serves the following stops:
Wipperfürth Bus Station, Hochstraße, Stöpgeshof, Beverstraße, Reinshagensbever, Käfernberg, Freizeitparadies Beverblick, Wupperbrücke, and Hückeswagen, Bahnhofstraße.
The stops Reinshagensbever, Käfernberg, and Freizeitparadies Beverblick are located directly at the
Bevertalsperre, providing an ideal gateway to the recreational area.

To ride the Beverbus, a valid public transport ticket, such as the Deutschlandticket, is required.
Passengers without a ticket can purchase one on the bus or via the OVAG app. From Wipperfürth
Bus Station or Hückeswagen Bahnhofstraße, the ride to the Bever costs 2.90 euros. Children
pay 1.30 euros.

Those using the eezy.nrw feature in the OVAG app save even more compared to buying a single ticket: From Hückeswagen to the Bever it costs only 2.20 euros, and from Wipperfürth 2.74 euros for adults.

Connections and prices can now be accessed via the timetable information.
Additionally, on weekdays in the mornings and on certain afternoons, the Hückeswagen Citizen Bus
also heads towards the Bevertalsperre.
