New website of the district administration is online The website www.obk.de went live on September 21, 2026, with a new design and revised content.

Oberbergischer Kreis. The district administration's new website www.obk.de is online. The website has been fundamentally redesigned and restructured both visually and in terms of content over the past few months.

Numerous editors from various departments of the district administration were involved in the project. They reviewed, revised, and prepared existing content for the new website. A key aspect of the redesign is the new structure of the website. This is more closely aligned with the topics and concerns of citizens. Information is now organized not only by departments and responsibilities but also directly by topic areas. This allows users to find the information, services, and contact persons relevant to them more quickly.

I am delighted that our new website is now online. My heartfelt thanks go to all employees who worked on it with great dedication. Our aim was to present the diverse information and services of the district administration in a clear and comprehensible manner. The new structure is intended to help citizens find important information and contact persons more quickly.

Special emphasis was also placed on citizen-oriented and understandable design and language. Furthermore, accessibility plays an important role. The website offers information in Easy Language as well as explanations in Sign Language.
