Sozialführerschein

In the Sozialführerschein project, students from the 9th grade – regardless of school type – volunteer for four afternoons in senior and disability facilities or kindergartens. Accompanying this, the adolescents receive a theoretical introduction, practical guidance, and a review discussion.

​Finally, during a small celebration, usually held in town halls, the certificate, the Sozialführerschein, is awarded.

The guides visit schools and facilities to promote the project. Through this organization and cooperation with the facilities, more than 1200 Sozialführerschein certificates have been awarded since 2012.

With this initiative – in addition to the extensive existing engagement in the district – another 1200 young people have already participated in voluntary social work!
