Consent to termination of severely disabled persons

Protection against dismissal for severely disabled employees

Severely disabled and equivalent persons who are employed enjoy special protection against dismissal under disability law (Part 2 of SGB IX).

Accordingly, an employer needs prior consent from the integration office to terminate a severely disabled person.

The determination of the facts is carried out by the specialist office for disabled persons in working life in the Oberbergischer Kreis.
