As a specialist center against sexualized violence, we offer counseling for children, adolescents, young adults, and their relatives. We take the concerns of those seeking help very seriously and stand by our clients. Our counseling is confidential, voluntary, and free of charge. If needed, we also provide referrals to further assistance and support the process.

Furthermore, we see it as an important task to protect children, adolescents, and young adults from sexualized violence. Therefore, we advise and support professionals and institutions working with children and adolescents in the area of prevention, as well as in cases of suspected sexual violence in their facilities or specific incidents.

Cooperation

As part of the state-funded specialist centers in NRW, the counseling centers in the Oberberg region have been able to expand their services in the area of specialized counseling for sexualized violence. We follow common standards of professional work and also offer cross-counseling center prevention events if needed.

Even though it is often difficult to talk about, many parents suffer from mental illnesses and/or addiction disorders. On average, every 6th family is affected.

Coping with everyday life poses a special challenge for the affected parents, their partners, and the children.

This raises many open questions and uncertainties, which we are happy to help you with.
