REGIONALE 2025 Bergisches RheinLand

The Bergisches RheinLand – under this title, the three districts of Oberberg, Rhein-Sieg, and Rhein-Berg, along with a total of 28 municipalities and a broad support network of associations, institutions, and civil society, successfully applied to host a REGIONALE 2022/2025 and were awarded the contract for REGIONALE 2025.

The geographical scope of the "Bergisches RheinLand" includes the entire Oberberg and Rheinisch-Bergisch districts as well as the eastern Rhein-Sieg district, with a total of 28 associated municipalities. This makes the "Bergisches RheinLand" the eastern project area within the established Cologne/Bonn region.

The goal is to further improve the quality of life for people on-site and strengthen the economic location.
