After Work Art: Kinusaiga

After a busy week, the weekend begins with a sociable art workshop.

The Kinusaiga technique originally comes from Japan and combines fabric and solid forms in a special way. Fabric pieces are pressed into slits in Styrofoam plates. This creates pictures that look like patchwork – without any needle and thread.

All materials and tools are provided. However, if you want, you are welcome to bring fabric scraps or templates to work with.

At the After Work Art in the Museum Workshop at Schloss Homburg, cutting, painting, and assembling will take place. Unique artworks are created from a variety of materials. We draw inspiration from sociable conversations and delicious snacks.
