The Oberbergischer Kreis congratulates Olaf Baumann on his 40th service anniversary Four decades of expertise and commitment to municipal supervision

Oberbergischer Kreis. Olaf Baumann, an employee in the Municipal Supervision, has celebrated his 40th service anniversary with Oberbergischer Kreis. The now 60-year-old began his professional career as a conscientious objector in the former Office for Landscape Protection. Shortly afterwards, Olaf Baumann started his dual studies as a district inspector trainee in the district administration. Through his many years of activity in the District Treasury and Municipal Supervision, his professional life has always been related to finance. But Olaf Baumann has not only remained loyal to finance but also to his other tasks within the district administration: since 1994, he has been a trainer and, since 2008, also a member of the election committee for every staff council election.

Meike Meier was particularly impressed that Olaf Baumann cared for his parents alone for many years, shouldering this great personal responsibility with remarkable calm, reliability, and strength.
