MINTeraktiv 2026: "Give Rubber Academy" during the autumn holidays For children between 10 and 12 years old

Oberbergischer Kreis. As part of MINTeraktiv 2026 during the autumn holidays, there is a special highlight this year: the four-day "Give Rubber Academy."

Children aged 10 - 12 will learn about the material rubber in a playful way. During a visit to the company Schwalbe (Reichshof-Wehnrath), the focus will be on the production of bicycle tires, their repair, and sustainable reuse. This way, the children learn the entire journey of a product – from production to repair. Then it's off to the ping pong table! First, the children examine various rubbers and discover how rubber mixtures affect spin, speed, and ball control.
Note: Participating children must be dropped off and picked up at the respective locations.

Research, tinker, discover, and try out: During the autumn holidays 2026, the zdi-Zentrum investMINT Oberberg invites you again to the autumn academy "MINTeraktiv." From October 19 to 30, 2026, students from Oberbergischer Kreis can expect a varied and free program about mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology.
