Construction work on the roundabout and through road in Wiehl-Marienhagen Starting Tuesday, 27.10.2026, repair work will begin in the 4th construction phase of district road 52

Oberbergischer Kreis. The district road 52 in Wiehl-Marienhagen will be renovated in the 4th construction phase. The construction work will begin on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The project will be carried out in two phases: First, the asphalt work in the area of the roundabout (entrance to Marienhagen) will be carried out. The road construction area will be partially closed. Traffic will be regulated by a traffic light during this time. This work will last about a week.

Subsequently, work will be carried out on the through road in Marienhagen up to the junction "Halstenbacher Straße." During this time, the district road in this area will be closed to through traffic. Local traffic will be restricted, except during milling and asphalt work. A regional detour will be set up via L 145 (Talstraße) – L 341 (Alpetalstraße) – Morkepützer Str. - K 48 (Auf der Bliebach) – K 52 Marienhagen (and vice versa). After the top and binder layers are milled off and the damaged areas are repaired, the asphalt base layer will be rebuilt. Subsequently, a full-surface application of an asphalt binder layer and a surface layer of asphalt concrete will follow.

The work is expected to be completed by mid-November 2026, weather permitting.
