Heating properly with wood Information event at :metabolon in Lindlar

Oberbergischer Kreis. At the beginning of the heating season, the Bergische Energy and Resource Center, the Oberbergischer Kreis, and the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis are inviting interested citizens for the fourth time to an information event on the topic "Heating properly with wood" at :metabolon in Lindlar: on Thursday, November 26, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The event will focus on a professional lecture about the current legal requirements and specifications by the Cologne chimney sweep guild. Important background information will be provided, and practical information about heating with wood will be presented. In addition to the lecture, the practical aspect will be emphasized: A heating demonstration will illustrate what is important when it comes to firing. Experts will demonstrate directly on the system how to light a fire in an environmentally friendly manner, how to optimally regulate the air supply, and how to identify clean combustion.

The event invites stove owners to benefit from the experts' knowledge. There will be practical tips for efficient and environmentally friendly heating and valuable information on the resource wood.
