Oberberg Pass

Please submit the application (see download) for the issuance of an Oberberg Pass to the locally responsible offices for benefit approval.

• You receive Citizens' Benefit:
  The Jobcenter at your place of residence is responsible for you.

• You receive Social Assistance or Basic Security Benefits under SGB XII:
  The Social Welfare Office at your place of residence is responsible for you.

• You receive benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act:
  The Social Welfare Office at your place of residence is responsible for you.

After you have submitted your application and the responsible office has confirmed the receipt of benefits, you will automatically receive the Oberberg Pass by mail!

The Caritas Association for the Oberberg District issues the Oberberg Pass on behalf of the Oberberg District. Issuance is free of charge. However, for re-issuance in case of loss, a fee of €2 is charged.

• The Oberberg Pass is usually valid for one year.

• It can also be issued for a shorter period.

• It is only valid in conjunction with an official identification document.

• A new application can be submitted at the earliest 4 weeks before the validity expires.
